- Backup Data: Before deleting your account, you may want to download a copy of your Facebook data. This includes photos, posts, and other information you’ve shared on the platform.
- Deactivation: Follow the steps above to deactivate your account.
- Permanently Delete Account: After deactivating your account, visit this link: https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account. Click on “Delete Account” and follow the prompts.
- Confirmation: Facebook will ask you to confirm your decision. If you’re sure, click “Delete Account.”
It’s important to note that account deletion is irreversible. Once you delete your account, you won’t be able to retrieve your data or reactivate your account. Make sure you’ve backed up any important information before proceeding.
